We work with a wide variety of organisations across a number of sectors. Here’s a selection of the clients we work for. We wish we could tell you about all of them, but some clients prefer to keep our involvement to themselves.

Support when it comes to the crunch

“Entering awards sounds like a great idea but it isn’t always practical to invest the time and energy in building entries. That’s where Louise and her team came in. They helped us to craft some top notch awards content backed up with lots of insight and advice.” Paul Wheeler, head of corporate affairs for Kellogg’s.

Getting glory for an in-house PR team

A place as potential Team of the Year on the prestigious PR Week shortlist delighted uSwitch’s PR team, who had delivered amazing results for the comparison site and its sister brand money.co.uk . One of two award entries we wrote for the team in 2019, we’re just waiting for news of the other national award.

133% award win record!

Scooping one award, a highly commended and a surprise Grand Prix Award at this year’s Property Marketing Awards delighted the Aster team. Its dedicated shared ownership sales and marketing team had smashed all of their targets and successfully launched Aster into a new area, selling one house in just six days!

Multiple award wins nationally and internationally

We have helped Yorkshire Water win several awards and be named finalists in others over the past few years. We wrote the entry which helped them win Best Business Improvement Strategy at the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards. And our support meant a dynamic member of the customer service team was also named Young Professional of the Year.

An FSB Award is not to be sniffed at

When serial entrepreneur Reece Samani wanted to explore whether awards were suitable for him he turned to the Awards Writers team. We helped Reece scoop the Federation of Small Businesses Young Entrepreneur Award for London and the South East in 2018 and continue to support him and his businesses.

Multiple award-winners

We’ve helped North East Lincolnshire Council win a clutch of trophies and make the shortlist of others since 2015. They have been crowned a winner at the prestigious public sector LGC Awards, and are regulars on the shortlists of the LGC and MJ Awards, as well as specialist awards in the health and social care sectors.

Named Supply Chain Champion at national awards

We topped two local award wins for Circuit Electrical with a national trophy at the inaugural Small Awards in 2017 in the Supply Chain Champion category. This brilliant Halifax-based firm is taking on the big guys in their industry and winning. We’re proud to be part of the extended team helping showcase their brilliant growth and getting them the glory they deserve.

Supporting the reputation of this beautiful office building

Entering awards has been a strategy for raising the profile of Croft Myl, leading to a waiting list which has never been empty. We have helped them on to several regional and national shortlists due to their small business-friendly offer and quirky decor – including workplace provider of the year. And they won a local award which helped establish them on the Halifax business scene.

A national win off the back of a regional one was no surprise to us

It was no surprise to us that Wetherby-based start-up TLC Accountants got the glory they deserved in the Forward Ladies Awards, with director Claire Mattison scooping the national Best Start-Up award. The award recognised the amazing growth of a business which had no website or other marketing for the first year, but still recruited hundreds of customers – an award-winning story if ever we heard one!

Delighted to be a European finalist

We helped get fast-growing smart meter installation company Trojan Utilities shortlisted in the European Smart Metering Awards 2014. They were pipped at the post in their category by EON, which is nothing to be ashamed about, and were delighted to have their seat at the table and a presence at the conference, which allowed them to cultivate valuable industry contacts.

The hidden rewards of winning awards

Baba and Boo have been finalists in both regional and national awards several times as a result of our support. Eve is a massive believer in the benefits of being a finalist. The profile she gained for herself and her business as a result helped her reduce her cost base dramatically and secured mentoring from the chief exec of a PLC – a golden opportunity for a small business like Baba& Boo.
