When it came to putting their clients’ success in front of awards judges, independent media planning and buying agency Smithfield Agency wanted their entries to do the work justice.
Earlier this year Smithfield came to us for support with their award writing. Together we got to work showcasing the brilliant media campaigns they’d delivered for two standout clients: Ascot Racecourse and The Kennel Club.
We supported Smithfield by helping find the right categories, dig for the right data, and shape their stories.
At The Drum Marketing Awards, the entries more than held their own. Smithfield’s work for Ascot earned a Silver in the Sport and Wellness category, recognition that their strategic, performance-driven approach to one of Britain’s most iconic sporting venues was genuinely outstanding.
The agency’s work for both Royal Ascot picked up Bronze in the Media category, with another Bronze awarded for the work for The Kennel Club and Crufts in the Digital Commerce category.
Three entries. Three medals. One brilliant agency that, it turns out, was sitting on a wealth of award-winning material.
“We know the work we do for our clients delivers real results but articulating that in a way that resonates with awards judges is a different skill entirely.
“Awards Writers helped us find the right narrative and present our evidence in its best light. Seeing that recognised with medals at The Drum is incredibly rewarding, and great validation for the work our team put in.
“We’re already working with the Awards Writers team on our next set of entries.”
