There’s definitely a category out there for you to enter and showcase your hard work, team members, and efforts. But with literally thousands of award categories to choose from, where do you start?
In this blog, you’ll find a list of the most popular categories and best HR awards to enter, and deadlines.
Note that deadlines and award ceremony dates change from year to year, so it’s always good to double-check.
For employers:
- The UK’s Best Companies to Work For (deadlines end of Dec, March, June, Sept)
- The Inspiring Workplace Awards (deadline February)
- The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards (Powered by WorkL) (deadline March)
- Great Place to Work
- Best Workplaces for Women event in July (deadline May).
- Stevie Awards for Great Employers (deadline June)
HR strategy:
- The HR Excellence Awards (deadline August) is one of the best awards for a major strategy. They also provide a very glamorous ceremony in London
- Likewise, May’s Company Culture Awards (deadline February)
- UK Employee Experience Awards (deadline February)
- Business Culture Awards (deadline June)
HR project or initiative:
- CIPD People Management Awards (deadline April) are very prestigious and are usually held at a lavish black-tie event at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London
- The Personnel Today Awards (deadline June) which are similarly high-profile awards
- HR Brilliance Awards (deadline October), is another excellent choice to enter to showcase your successes
Learning and development project/strategy:
The Brandon Hall Excellence in Human Capital Management Program (April deadline) and
The Learning Awards (September deadline) are both extremely credible if you have a creative and impactful project.
The Princess Royal Training Awards (March deadline) and the Investors in People Awards (August deadline) and The Learning Excellence Awards (October deadline) are great for employers who are committed to L&D in general.
